ADR-010: Orders freeze when assembly starts
Status: accepted 13 September 2026 (owner decision, BRV-02).
Context
Section titled “Context”Phone and messenger customers change their minds. The alternative, freezing at confirmation, would force cancel-and-recreate for every change and lose the order’s history.
Decision
Section titled “Decision”pending: freely editable; a new priced revision, nothing reserved.confirmed: editable; the amendment reprices and reallocates atomically. If stock or date eligibility is insufficient, the amendment is rejected and the previous revision and reservations stand untouched.in_progress,ready,delivered,cancelled: composition, prices, packaging and delivery cutoff are frozen. Internal notes, payment status and legal status moves remain possible.
Consequences
Section titled “Consequences”- Every accepted change creates a revision with actor and reason; nothing is overwritten invisibly.
- Editable forms carry a version; two edits based on the same old version cannot both succeed.
- The delivery-date change is treated like a composition change because it changes which batches are eligible.
